PowerSchool just upgraded to version 9.0.
With that upgrade, they did away with the way we were using the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Now we have to use something called SSO (Single Sign On):
With this release in June 2015, Parent Single Sign-On is the only supported method of parent access to PowerSchool.
Parent Single Sign-On changes the way in which parents access their students’ academic records using the PowerSchool Parent Portal. This Quick Reference Guide is designed to assist you through the process of enabling and setting up Parent Single Sign-On in PowerSchool.
Go to the parent portal pagehttps://weehawken.powerschool.com/public/
Click on the CREATE ACCOUNT tab, then CREATE ACCOUNT button
Fill out the information in the CREATE PARENT ACCOUNT section
Fill out the information for LINK STUDENTS TO ACCOUNT using their 5 digit access ID and access PASSWORD (same one as last year).
If you want to allow your child(ren) to access their records on their own, they can sign in with the NEW 8 digit access ID and access password. WHS students have already received their new 8 digit access IDs and passwords. TRS students will get them in September.
