Dr. DeStefano, Interim Principal
Welcome to Daniel Webster School!
My name is Dr. Nicholas DeStefano, and I am the interim principal of DWS. This is my 7th year serving the Weehawken Township School District as a school administrator, after 12 years as a classroom teacher. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Franklin & Marshall College, my Master’s Degree from Montclair State University, and my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Saint Peter’s University.
Our mission at DWS is to provide a safe and enriching learning environment where the whole student is nurtured and developed. Our teachers and administrators pledge to support the academic and emotional wellbeing of each and every student. Students will leave our school prepared with skills and knowledge that will give them advantages throughout their future educational and life experiences. Our rigorous standards challenge all students to rise to their full potential and become the best global citizens they can be.
Our learning environment is one where students want to come to school and can enjoy these important elementary school years. At Webster School, we truly consider ourselves a "family" and there is a great feeling of camaraderie, respect, and encouragement.
I am so proud to be a member of the Weehawken Township School District and look forward to working closely with everyone in the near future.
Sincerely,
Dr. Nicholas DeStefano ([email protected])
